On Monday, June 25, 2012, the North End Historical Society will screen a 15-minute version of the documentary "Boston’s North End: America’s Italian Neighborhood."

On Oct. 8 and 9, filmmaker Agata De Santis will present in Boston her latest documentary film, "Mal'occhio," trying to unfold the mysteries behind this ancient Italian superstitious belief.

This year's Boston Irish Film Festival will have a little Italian twist on March 26, with a screening of Alessandro Negrini's 'Paradiso' at Somerville Theater.
