A Day with Boshman and the Champ

The Champ Tony DeMarco and our friends at the “Sicilian Corner” will take part in a special fundraiser for a wonderful 26 year old guy Chris Boshar who has been an inspiration to many of us over the last year was paralyzed last 4th of July in a boating/diving accident. With the suggestion of our good friend Cindy Miragliotta The Sicilian Corner Radio Show and WCCM along with Zorvino Vineyards and former Welterweight Champion Tony DeMarco have decided to have a great fund raising event with FREE ADMISSION at ZORVINO VINEYARD on Saturday July 21, from 11 am to 4 pm. We are calling it ” A DAY WITH THE BOSHMAN AND THE CHAMP”

A live broadcast will be held. The vineyard is spectacular! We will be holding a live auction with donated items, there will be free bocce (two beautiful courts), free wine tasting, a 50/50 raffle, sausage, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill.

Tony will be there to socialize with us and will be there to sign his new best selling book Nardo: Memoirs of a Boxing Champion. Part of the book sale proceeds will also go to the Chris Boshar Fund.

The Sicilian Corner will match the book sale proceeds.

There will be free wine tasting and you will be able to buy your wine and have a nice glass with your sausage sandwich! This will be a fun time for the whole family, as the vineyard is on 80 acres.
